I'm just one of the many photographers taking part to this new lap of the Stravaganza, a nomadic worldwide photography exhibition.
The first show of Dr. Karanka’s Print Stravaganza was organized by Joni Karanka in Cardiff, Wales.
After a few weeks of an open call, more than sixty photographers had submitted their prints to be displayed without expecting any renumeration: the photographs then started a trip that would take them to Bologna, Arles, London, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Tokyo.
Next Friday, the Stravaganza will strike back in Turin, as event of the off-part of Photissima art fair. The variety of the exhibition spaces used and the involvement of local organizers for each show gives Dr. Karanka’s Print Stravaganza an unique DIY aspect, bringing photography directly from the artists to the viewers at minimal cost.
