The reportage Sur la route avec les réfugiés - telling the story of the migrants hitting the so called "Balkan Route" and published last October by La Croix - was awarded with the Prix Louise Weiss, a journalism prize created in 2005 by the French section of the Association of European Journalists with the support of the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
The award showcases original works of French-speaking journalists on european issues, aiming to encourage journalists to a more systematic, educational and original treatment of European subjects, contributing in this to reduce "the European divide" .
